During the life of the Earth, the evolution of seeded plants acted as one of the most pivotal moments in time that acted as a catalyst that brought about human evolution. Sequential Seeds is a series in which the seed as an object is depicted and explored. The images investigate the complex shapes and forms of various seeds at a macro level by extracting them from their natural environment and photographing them in a controlled situation. This technique allows for the subject matter to be studied at an isolated level. The detailed macro images reveal intricacies of the subject matter that are often overlooked by the naked eye. Repetitive elements are used to create additional shapes that mimic the complex makeup of these organisms and remind the viewer of the potential magnitude that a single seed possesses.
